We are a firm that is solely focused on helping our Clients around the world to achieve their business goals. We deliver this Outcome in three “linked” Phases containing five different “Levels of Engagement.”

  The Three Phases of the Andover Vehicle (AV)

  All of our Engagements are custom built and no two are exactly   the same.  Accordingly, there are three phases of the AV: these   are Tactical Business Focus, Operational Business Focus and   Strategic Business Focus.

  For example, every Client Engagement starts in Phase I- Part A   and while some Clients may go thru every Phase, others may   remain within the parameters of the Phase I for the duration of   their Engagement. Because everything we do is 100%   Confidential, this entire process is totally driven by our Client’s   Business Needs and the Business Outcomes they tell us that   they want to achieve.

The Five Levels of the Andover Vehicle (AV):

Phase I: Tactical Business Focus-
Part A = Level I "Perceptions"
Part B = Level II "Effective Communication"
Part C = Level III "Organization"

Phase II: Operational Business Focus-
Level IV "Applied Leadership"

Phase III: Strategic Business Focus-
Level V "Operational Art"

How It Works Part 1- Overall Orientation

       Phase I:

    • We focus largely on the Tactical Skills Sets, actions and processes that are required to identify, build and develop- what we call- Long Term Consultative Partnerships (LTCPs) with your external (and in some cases Internal) Clients.

    • This focus results from our experiences that your relationship with your Clients drives everything else in your business.

    • Some people may say that this is a blinding glimpse of the obvious, however, years of working with Clients in multiple industries including banking, financial services, technology and manufacturing has proven that a significant majority of people overestimate their external Client relationships and in many cases, seriously overrate them.

      It is important to note that Phase I is not a quick fix and we encourage potential Clients who desire a “shake and bake” training program to seek other firms.  If, however, you are committed to long-term development with exceptional results, then Andover Partners is for you.

       Phase Il:

    • We reorient the Engagement to focus on the Operational Skills Sets, actions and capabilities that- based on our experience (and highlighted by recent world events)- form the foundation of all successfully engaged firms: namely, Leadership Development and Senior Leadership Environment.

    • This focus results from our experiences, which clearly dictate that most senior executives have had little to no custom built Leadership Development, which also directly impacts their firm’s Senior Leadership Environment.  It is of no surprise to Andover Partners that some of the core drivers of the Financial Meltdown have turned out to be poor leadership: we have been working with these issues for years (way before Leadership became “popular” to teach).

    • Accordingly, in this Phase II we help those Clients who seek to develop, build and enhance the various critical Leadership Skills Sets that they may- or may not- be required to do so in a “safe” environment where they can take “baby steps” to ensure they maximize their own success and achieve their full potential.

    • This methodology is based on a proprietary combination of Military Special Operations and business leadership that will enable you to quickly understand what really motivates somebody- i.e., the benefits to them- so that you can adjust the way in which you interact with other people in real-time.

    • As a direct result, you will be much more effective in Self-Leadership, Team leadership and (depending on your level in your firm) Senior Leadership.

    • Level IV can take years to master, however, the benefits have proven to be enormous for those Clients who have elected to continue with us.

     Phase Ill:

    •  At this Phase, we change orientation again and move to the Engagement to focus on the Strategic Skills Sets, capacities and personal competencies that help you to build the critical linkages that “connect” your day to day business “Tactics” to your long-term business “Strategy.” 

    • This process is called the Operational Art.

    • To our knowledge, we are the sole practitioner of this process in the world today (it is not taught outside a few elite Military schools).
